    Grimm TPR

Posted by Chris Johnson on Oct 18th 2024

I knew of TPR's sonic reputation and, since I had to make a couple patch cables, I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. I found it particularly easy to work with and heartily recommend it for any application.

    Worth Every Penny

While this is more expensive per foot than other cable, this is absolutely the most sturdy and best sounding cable I have used. While Mogami may be a closer comparison, the braided shield adds robustness and the firmer jacket adds a nice aesthetic hand feel to the cables. An added bonus is the 110ohm impedance, which is perfect for AES or analog signals. Highly recommend!

    Pro cable for Hifi

Posted by Wayne on Oct 14th 2021

One of my friends recommended this Pro cable to me. I purchased 10 feet to DIY one pair of balanced interconnects. Compared with my $800 triple-C reference cables, it is more transparent and faster, and the sound stage is a bit larger. Although the sound is not as fluid and soft as the reference ones but I'm already very satisfied and happy with the purchase. I believe it will become better after breaking in.
